We used ADSL as a temporary option while waiting for our Fibre to set up. However, it took us almost 3 months of rescheduling and in the end we just gave up.
There was a bit of drama when cancellig our fibre installation, we were promised that we can cancel and not get charged by the early termination fee. But then, they say they will charge us. When we tell them that we were promised by another agent with a reference number, they keep on mentioning that its part of the T&C.
Needed to talk to a different agent who was willing to do as what was promised.
After switching to another provider, the same technician who came for our scoping said that his plan got rejected by BigPipe, but instantly approved by Stuff Fibre. It must be that BigPipe doesnΓÇÖt want to pay the extra price of installing fibre at my house, because it needs more work. Good thing I switched, if not we will never ever get fibre. ...read more
