Service have been good. But getting hold of a customer rep requires resilience as you may be on hold upwards of 10 minutes

Pros

Initial setup was easy, upgrade to fibre seemless though we had to initiate the call and request rather than a proactive approach

Difficult to reach customer service

very very lame. abusive support staff. NB they do NOT sell static IP addresses, as per their website. All they do is take your $45 and give you a regular IP address from their dynamic address pool! When I brought this to their attention and demanded a refund of said fee they disconnected me ... DUMB.

I am a seasoned / tech-savvy punter, and know that the service they provide is far BELOW typical (elsewhere) and I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ISP TO ANYONE.

Pros

The main 'pro' appeared to me to be a static IP address for a one off fee ($45). However, it ended up that they just took my money and didn't provide a static address for me. So ... NO PROS!

Cons

They will refuse to sign any support emails or identify themselves. Add to that they won't use my preferred name (surname) in correspondence ... yep ... its that kinda company.

I've been with Spark for a long time, and had fibre for nearly three years. The speed, though not great - 10 up, 50 down, was fine for my occasional OnDemand viewing etc. But the cost kept going up, and they weren't prepared to match other offers.

Pros

Good basic reliable service. Good billing, usage information - I liked the 80% used text, and the ability to download bills etc.

Cons

high cost

Spark OK but like all other large companies does not have enough staff to cope with customers enquiries and employs people who first language is not English .
Makes policy decisions that suit them and not their customers.

Very fast and reliable internet, had very little downtime and customer service was good.

Only available in certain apartment buildings, otherwise would have stayed with them.

Shocking customer service way to much hassle trying to access your account when someone else puts there name as the owner of the account and your the main bill payer. Been loyal to these guys for years when there name was Telecom. And cant even access the account. Time for change

they add a $2.50 charge for sending the bill by mail. Too expensive for crap service.

2 degrees broadband originaly Snap. Is poor value for money as they say "Service is there second name." When in fact if you try and contact them you wait on phone for over 35 minutes and they never offer a proper outcome.
Offer poor value as $80 Per month for 50 GB is poor value.
Lacks good support.
So beware as send message and they read message and over 36 hrs later still no response.
Combined Phone service crappy as when log a fault for phone not going they then wan ...read more

Switched to them on the back of theit big social media campaign but was disappointed with the features and value for money on offer. They talk a big game but cant back it up. Reviews on here are clearly from friends and family of the company, can't be legit!
